Every person has been given a name. Our dear parents chose it for us. Some are named after their parents' initials. Some are after celebrities. Some are after bible characters and the like. Some have been given the name "Mark", there are too many Marks in the world. Some have been given a very long name like "Maria Luzviminda Consolacion". I am glad we were named "Angelyn" and "Angela". Yes, we are twins. We have similar names but we have different personalities.

Our names were not our choice but we have a choice on how we are defined as others call our name. It is our attitude that defines our character, and our character defines our destiny.

We also have our nicknames that our family and friends use to call us. Here are my names and how they define me as a person.

ANN - me when I was a little girl (I'm still little though)
ANJ - me as a web developer (It is my profession)
ANGEL - me as a God's messenger (It is the meaning of my name and my life's purpose)
ANGELA - me as a KIDS teacher (It is my passion)
ANJEYLA - me as a princess (Who will be the prince? I am patiently waiting.) "Simple lang naman ang buhay ko. Walang labis. Ikaw nalang ang kulang". Joke lang!!!

Today is not a fairytale. It is just an ordinary day but it is my choice to make it special. It is another day, another year of sowing seeds to reap the fruits of fulfilling my dreams.
