Score Rush is a Twin-Stick Bullet Hell shooter from Xona Games. Originally on XBox Live Arcade, it has since been ported to the PC in the form of a browser game, available at the Turbulenz website. It uses WebGL, which only runs on Chrome at the time of writing, but supported on other browsers via plugins.

SHINY. THAT’S YOU THERE, THE RED C-SHAPED SHIP AT THE BOTTOM.
The ships may be just silhouettes, but bright neon colors and lots of particle effects make for a wild experience in a web-based game. There's also great attention to detail; ships show bullet holes when hit, and they remain the background until you scroll past them upon death. Probably not for the seizure prone though.

Okay but not memorable. The background music is just generic metal riffs (coupled with the usual shooter effects), but it's enough to get your blood pumping and fits the game's fast paced action.

Dodge bullets by a hair's breadth while shooting back at your enemy with loads of bullets of your own. Now, I may be biased since bullet-hell shooters are just something I enjoy very much, but I think this is just a natural side-effect of the genre. The feeling you get when you're able to concentrate enough to weave between the tight bullet patterns your enemy blasts at you is elating.

STAGE 3 OF 8.
This is not a game that can be completed in one sitting, unless you have the reflexes of a jedi. You tend to pick up the skills required to play bullet hell-shooters while going through the levels and memorizing the patterns each boss fires. The leaderboard feature and the scorekeeping lets you keep track of previous attempts while you try to beat other people's scores as well as your own.

Not for beginners to the shmup genre, as they might find it frustrating. But overall, a solid experience for any shooter fan, with just the right combination of atmosphere, and enough hardcore difficulty to prove your skills. It's one I'll be playing for a long, long time.
